3 Crichton Novels Make Top 100 Thrillers List
NPR has published a list of the Top 100 Killer Thrillers as chosen by the public from a list of 182 finalists.
Three of Michael Crichton’s novels made the list—with two of them making the Top 20:
14. Jurassic Park
17. The Andromeda Strain
68. Timeline
I wish I had known about this sooner. We might have been able to get one or two of Crichton’s novels in the Top Ten.
And I would have included Prey on the list.

I would have added Sphere... But 3 novels in list heavily influenced by "fashionableness" (Brown, Larsson), that's the good result. :-)
Hmmm, this bribgs us back to the question of our favorite Crichton novels... always a difficult choice. But I am glad Timeline made it into the list!
I would have taken Timeline out of the list and placed instead Congo.
Well, we all have our favorites. Timeline is my favorite of all of Crichton’s novels. Taste in books is very subjective—especially when it comes to fiction. One person’s pleasure is another person’s punishment. This is something I keep in mind working at a bookstore. When customers ask me to recommend a good book, I ask them what books they have enjoyed.
